Frontline Wildfire Defense has been included along with 16 other companies in the 2020 cohort of the Net Zero Accelerator (NZA) program. Funded and managed by the U.S. Green Building Council-Los Angeles Chapter (USGBC-LA), the NZA works to promote and drive adoption of “net zero” sustainable building technologies focused on making zero carbon, zero energy, zero water, and zero waste a reality.
The NZA notes that the second cohort of its program has been chosen specifically to promote building decarbonization, clean construction, and occupant wellness. Of these priorities, Frontline Wildfire Defense serves to help promote occupant wellness with an innovative exterior sprinkler system designed to protect homes from wildfires, a major concern in California.
According to the USGBC-LA, Frontline Wildfire Defense and the other companies included in this year’s cohort “have been selected for their strong potential to be game changers in building technologies and materials as well as jobs creation.”
The companies in the cohort will be on display and available to interact with attendees at USGBC-LA’s virtual Municipal Green Building Conference & Expo (MGBCE), Aug. 21-22, 2020.

A Message from Harry Statter, CEO & Founder of Frontline Wildfire Defense
“Climate change has led to an extended fire season in California, increasing the risk for larger, more destructive, more costly, and more deadly wildfires. The Net Zero Accelerator program is designed to help limit the factors contributing to climate change, and Frontline Wildfire Defense is honored to be included in its latest cohort. We look forward to the opportunity to work with mentors and partners from the NZA to protect California’s homes while maintaining a focus on sustainable building practices.”
